The drilling team is responsible for exploring and finding the exact landslide point, then bringing the pipe down to serve the work of stuffing concrete to harden the soil and rock in the surrounding area. To date, hundreds of concrete blocks have been pumped from the top of the mountain to the ceiling of Bai Gio tunnel right in the area where the landslide occurred to prevent further landslides.

The implementation process requires smooth and careful coordination to avoid errors.

During the drilling process, workers must constantly pour water to cool the drill bit.

The terrain is complex, workers have a hard time transporting materials to the drilling area.

Everyone tries to race against time to clear the route as quickly as possible.

At the drilling site, many workers and machines continued to drill bits down to the top of Bai Gio tunnel.

At the same time, there will be construction work inside the tunnel, steel reinforcement will be carried out to increase the bearing capacity of the tunnel dome.

The police of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces have coordinated to regulate traffic, prohibiting vehicles (except two-wheeled vehicles) from passing through Ca Pass to limit vibrations, affecting the safety of construction workers in the tunnel. .

After the landslide incident in the Bai Gio railway tunnel, the railway industry temporarily stopped receiving goods on the Saigon – Hanoi route to wait for a fix and avoid congestion.
