On April 16, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee issued a document directing the fireworks display to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024).

Accordingly, along the Saigon River, the city organizes high-altitude fireworks displays at the usual location, the area at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City).
Along with that are 9 low-level points including: Thanh Da park (Binh Thanh district), Landmark 81 park (ward 22, Binh Thanh district), Ba Son pier (Ben Nghe ward, district 1), pier Bach Dang Wharf (Ben Nghe Ward, District 1), Tan Thuan 1 Bridge Area (District 4), Rach Chiec Bridge Area (Truong Tho Ward, Thu Duc City), Thao Dien Villa Area (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City) Germany), Van Phuc urban area (Thu Duc City), Thanh My Loi ward riverbank area (Thu Duc City).
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City also organizes low-level fireworks displays at 6 other locations including: Lot N4-D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park (Tan An Hoi commune, Cu Chi district), Nga Ba Giong historical relic area (commune Xuan Thoi Thuong, Hoc Mon district), Revolutionary Traditional Area of the General Offensive and Uprising of Spring Mau Than 1968 (Tan Nhut commune, Binh Chanh district), Dam Sen Cultural Park (ward 3, district 11), Central Vietnam District 7 administrative center (Tan Phu ward, district 7), Rung Sac Square (Can Gio district).
Fireworks display time takes place from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30, carried out from social sources.
The Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee assigned the Ho Chi Minh City Command to be responsible for working with relevant units to obtain licenses, instructions, and ensure the amount of artillery shells, supplies, forces… in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, be responsible for ensuring funding for low-level fireworks displays and funding for logistics, service, ensuring security, order, protection, hygiene, health… at these shooting locations. from socialization sources; Estimate costs and coordinate with relevant units to make payments according to regulations.
The City Command also needs to proactively survey the location of the fireworks display to ensure absolute safety and provide written advice to the City People’s Committee.
The Department of Culture and Sports is responsible for ensuring funding for high-altitude fireworks displays from the city’s socialized fireworks funding source.
