REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG — The Tangerang City Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) predicts that the number of post-Eid migrants this year will decrease by 50 percent compared to last year. Head of the Tangerang City Dukcapil Office, Irman Pujahendra, said the number of new arrivals after Eid 2024 would reach 1,655 people.
This is of course much different compared to 2023, the number of arrivals reaching 3,274 people after Eid. He also appealed to immigrants who want to stay to immediately take care of population administration in Tangerang City, by bringing a letter of transfer from their area of origin (SKPWNI).
“With the awareness of the immigrant community in managing population administration, it can certainly make it easier to collect population data in Tangerang City. “Come on, let’s work together in orderly administration by processing the production of Family Cards (KK) and e-KTPs in the destination area, namely Tangerang City,” he said.
Not only that, Irman also said that immigrants can register their existence by creating a KK and e-KTP online via the sobatdukcapil.tangerangkota.go.id application.
It can also be done offline via the Disdukcapil Office on Jl. Perintis Independen II, RT 007/RW 003, Babakan Village, Tangerang District or at dukcapil outlets at Tangcity Mall, Icon Walk Mall, Public Service Mall (MPP) and in local sub-districts. “Migrants only bring SKPWNI documents from their area of origin and attach the applicant’s original e-KTP, whereas if you go online, you can select the ‘Come Indonesian Citizen’ feature,” he said.
