The campaign to purge the Verkhovna Rada of deputies from banned parties continues.
In particular, the deputy from the banned party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Oleg Voloshyn reported suspicion of treason. This was reported by the leader of the “Servant of the People” faction David Arahamia in Telegram.
“Oleg Voloshyn has been notified of the suspicion of high treason. The SBU, the SBU and the Prosecutor General’s Office worked well,” Arahamiya wrote.

The information was later confirmed by the Security Service.
As evidenced by the materials of the investigation, during 2020-2021, this parliamentarian contributed to the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation in subversive activities against Ukraine.
Among other things, Voloshin purposefully manipulated the public opinion of Ukrainians in the interests of the aggressor country.
In particular, he presented distorted information about the military, political and social spheres of our state in his speeches and interviews.
On January 29, a People’s Deputy from the banned party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Oleg Voloshyn wrote an application for submitting a deputy’s mandate.
Oleg Voloshyn got into the Verkhovna Rada at number nine on the list of OPZZH. Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Integration of Ukraine with the European Union.
In 2020, OPZZH worked with people’s deputies on amending “spam” to the draft law on the land market. Voloshyn submitted 447 amendments.
Voloshyn, according to media reports, left Ukraine on February 14, 2022, by car across the Belarusian border. From that moment he did not appear in the parliament.
