As a result of repeated Russian strikes on the territory of Ukraine, civilians were killed in the Donetsk and Sumy regions.
In his Telegram channel, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported that as a result of shelling in Ocheretino, one person was killed and two were wounded.
“This afternoon, the Russians dropped an aerial bomb on the village – they hit the 5th floor. They pulled out the body of a 67-year-old woman from under the rubble of the house,” he noted and added that both wounded were taken to the hospital and are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
In addition, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the enemy attacked a truck with a drone in the Sumy Oblast, resulting in the death of its driver.
“According to the investigation, on April 14, 2024, around 8:00 a.m., the occupiers on the territory of the Krasnopolsky municipality of the Sumy district dropped explosives from a drone onto a truck. The driver of the vehicle was killed,” the message says.
Thus, under the procedural leadership of the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, connected with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by UNIAN, on April 13, the chairman of the Chernihiv OGA, Vyacheslav Chaus, said that in the Chernihiv region, the Russian army shot a man who was carrying products for residents of border settlements.
The communications department of the Chernihiv region police clarified that the Russian army targeted a civilian car belonging to a resident of Novgorod-Seversky. As a result of shelling, a civilian man, born in 1990, died.
