In Tatarstan (a republic within the Russian Federation) they decided to attract teenagers aged 14 to 18 to work at the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex. The parliament has prepared a program according to which they will be allowed to work at factories during their free time.
This was reported by the Russian mass media with reference to the new regional youth employment promotion program. Separate points in the document specify the promotion of employment of youth under the age of 35 in agriculture and at enterprises of the defense-industrial complex.
The document is designed to simplify the employment of teenagers in factories and other enterprises.
The authors of the program say that Tatarstan faced a shortage of young workers due to the decline in the birth rate in the 1990s. Another reason is that now young people prefer to get an education instead of going to work.
The document claims that if the new initiative is approved, unemployment among young people aged 15-29 will decrease to 7%.
The mass media reminded that last year the State Council of the republic had decided to allow teenagers from the age of 16 to be employed in harmful and dangerous industries.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the explosions in Tatarstan on April 2 were the result of an operation by the Main Directorate of Intelligence. The Shahed kamikaze drone assembly plant was struck by Ukrainian-made drones.
Later it became known that the drones in the Tatarstan SEZ “Alabuga” force the gathering of underage students.
