Fernando, the same sources of the investigation specify, entered the family home with two machetes. David had given him a ride, and he waited outside. The vehicle belonged to his mother. The plan was to take jewelry and valuables from the house and flee. They sensed or knew – the latter is what the agents investigate – that there were valuable objects. The couple, according to the same sources, had management positions in logistics companies. Once inside the shawl, the initial plans changed after Elvira noticed her presence. It was 3:05 in the morning on Sunday. The woman called 112. Someone has entered my house, she warned with a broken voice. One of the theses that the Homicide agents use is that Fernando was afraid of being betrayed since Laura knew him. It was then that he allegedly stabbed the three family members to death.

He stabbed the couple in their bedroom, located on the upper floor of the house. To Laura, on the stairs. Fernando, the same sources indicate, had wounds on his arms because the father of the family – with a height of 1.90 meters and a fan of taekwondo – was able to try to defend himself against him. After committing the crimes, he took some watches and jewelry and set the bottom of the shawl on fire. His accomplice fled the place without waiting for him. By then, a patrol from the Armed Institute was already on its way to the urbanization and they also notified the firefighters from the Azuqueca de Henares park, who managed to extinguish the fire around 5:10 a.m. and were able to access the home. They found the three bodies inside. They were not burned, so they could confirm the stab wounds.

When the agents arrived, they entered the shawl. The flames had only affected the lower part. They saw Laura dead on the stairs and her husband in her room. The perpetrator of the triple crime was arrested hours later in a hostel in Daganzo along with his Venezuelan girlfriend, who was also detained as an accessory. The woman registered with her ID. Early on Sunday, Fernando went to the hostel. After the appearance of the bodies, the Civil Guard began its investigation. The security cameras of the urbanization captured the car in which Fernando and his accomplice had arrived. Once the license plate was checked, the agents traveled to David’s house. He was the first arrested.

The young man led investigators to Fernando and his girlfriend at the hostel. Once there, and with the corresponding search warrant, the agents inspected the room and found the objects that Fernando had stolen from the house, as reported by the sources consulted.

From inside the room, which has been sealed, they took out two bags. Yesterday morning, the three detainees left the Guadalajara Civil Guard Headquarters, where they had been since Sunday, to continue practicing the open proceedings in order to reconstruct the events. They have remained in the shawl for several hours. It is expected that they will be brought to judicial disposal throughout the morning today. Investigators are now analyzing the security cameras and the Scientific Police are taking fingerprints from the shawl.
