Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee is Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee

TPO – Mr. Le Quoc Anh – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang province was mobilized and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Quoc City Party Committee, replacing Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong. Mr. Truong was transferred to be the Head of the Propaganda Department of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, the position period 2020-2025.
On the afternoon of April 16, the Phu Quoc City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to mobilize, rotate, and appoint Mr. Le Quoc Anh – Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee, term 2020-2025 (replacing Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong).

New Secretary of Phu Quoc City Party Committee – Le Quoc Anh is 52 years old, from Cho Moi district, An Giang province. Professional qualifications: Master of planning, advanced political theory.
Previously, Mr. Quoc Anh held the following positions: Deputy Head of Phu Quoc Investment and Development Management Board; Director of Kien Giang Department of Construction; Secretary, Chairman of the City People’s Committee. Ha Tien; Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People’s Committee.
At the conference, also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to mobilize and appoint Mr. Tong Phuoc Truong – Secretary of the Phu Quoc City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term as Head of the Propaganda Department of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Do Thanh Binh – Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee congratulated and wished Mr. Le Quoc Anh in his new position to continue to strive, train and contribute; together with the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee in solidarity and consensus, leading the City Party Committee. Phu Quoc carries out political tasks; determined to build a clean and strong City Party Committee.
Previously, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee made a decision to mobilize and appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong – Head of the Propaganda Department of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Rach Gia City Party Committee, term 2020-2025 (replacing Mr. Le Thanh Viet). Mr. Viet was assigned to hold the position of Party Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, for the 2019-2024 term, replacing Ms. Le Thi Ve, who retired.
