A meeting of the Central Royat Hilal Committee will be held in Islamabad to see the Shawwal moon

The meeting of the Central Royat Hilal Committee for sighting of the Shawwal moon is going on in Islamabad.

According to the zonal committee, many evidences of moon sighting have been received from Karachi, however, the final announcement regarding the sighting of the moon will be made by the central moon sighting committee.

The Royat Hilal Committee meeting is being held in the building of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Kohsar Complex, while the meetings of the Zonal Royat Hilal Committees are being held at designated places.

The main meeting is presided over by Chairman Royat Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad while Royat Hilal Committee members, Department of Meteorology, SPARCO and Science and Technology officials are also participating in the meeting.

The meeting of Karachi Zonal Sighting Hilal Committee is being held in the office of Meteorology Department under the chairmanship of Maulana Muhammad Salafi, the meeting is attended by members of the committee, representatives of Meteorology Department and other people.

In the meeting of the Zonal Committee Karachi, the testimonies of the moon of Eid are being reviewed.

The meeting of Zonal Sighting Crescent Committee has started in Quetta, in which committee members and representatives of Meteorology Department are participating.

According to the Department of Meteorology, due to cloudy weather in Quetta, the chances of seeing the moon are low, the chances of seeing the moon are high in the southern and coastal areas of Balochistan.

On the other hand, the meeting of the Zonal Royat Hilal Committee is going on in Awqaf House in Lahore.

The zonal sighting of the crescent committee meeting is ongoing in Peshawar where the committee will receive testimonies from different districts of the province.

The Zonal Committee meeting is being held in Awqaf Hall under the chairmanship of Chairman Qari Abdul Rauf Madani.

Meteorological Department says that there is a strong possibility of Shawwal moon sighting in Pakistan today as the forecast is clear in most parts of the country and the moon will remain on the horizon for 50 minutes after sunset.

According to experts, the age of the moon will be enough to be visible to the human eye because the age of the moon at sunset will be about 20 hours.

The official announcement of the moon of Shawwal will be made by the Chairman of the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee, Abdul Khabir Azad.
