Aseefa Bhutto took oath as a member of the National Assembly amid noise from the opposition

Asifa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, took oath as a member of the National Assembly.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari has been elected uncontested from NA 207 Benazirabad (Nawabshah) in the by-election.
In the meeting presided over by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the central leader of the People’s Party took oath, on this occasion the opposition members raised noise in the House.
President Asif Ali Zardari witnessed the swearing-in of Asifa Bhutto directly in his presidential chamber in the Parliament House.
During Asifa Bhutto’s swearing-in ceremony, the leadership of the People’s Party was present in the visitors’ gallery, including Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, Bakhtawar Bhutto and Faryal Talpur.
Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Chaudhry Yasin of PP Azad Kashmir were also present in the assembly gallery on the occasion of oath taking.
After taking the oath of National Assembly membership, Asifa Bhutto reached her sister Bakhtawar Bhutto in the gallery.
During the swearing in of Aseefa Bhutto, the People’s Party walked out against the agitation of the opposition. PP and PTI members raised slogans against each other, PP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Deputy Speaker Mustafa Shah left the Parliament.
The quorum was broken due to the walkout of the People’s Party, on which the meeting was adjourned indefinitely.
Thus, the National Assembly session called on the requisition of the opposition parties was postponed due to the protest of the opposition.
According to sources, Aseefa Bhutto after taking oath went to meet President Asif Zardari in his chamber.
