I will serve in all constituencies regardless of political affiliation: Asifa Bhutto

Asifa Bhutto Zardari, who got into an election scandal from her father’s seat in the by-elections, after winning unopposed, expressed her determination to serve in all constituencies beyond her political affiliation.

Expressing his gratitude, he wrote in his message that ‘I am grateful for getting the honor of being elected as a member of the National Assembly uncontested from the NA-207 constituency of Shaheed Benazirabad-1.

Expressing her commitment, she wrote that I pledge to serve all my constituencies with dedication and to the best of my ability, regardless of political affiliation.

Asifa Bhutto further wrote that I want to thank the people of my constituency, PPP workers, jayals, media workers and press for their presence and support from the time of submission of nomination papers from constituency NA-207 until the final results were revealed. .

It should be noted that Asif Zardari was successful from National Assembly Constituency NA 207 Nawabshah, but his seat became vacant after the election of the President.

Asifa Bhutto Zardari was nominated by PPP on the vacant seat of Asif Zardari.

According to the Election Commission, 11 candidates, including Asifa Bhutto, had submitted nomination papers for the said seat.

According to RO Sher Ali Jamali, the nomination papers of 7 independent candidates were rejected while the remaining 3 candidates withdrew their nomination papers, after which Asifa Bhutto Zardari was elected uncontested Member of National Assembly from NA-207.

Constituency NA 207 of Shaheed Benazirabad-1 – ancestral seat of Bhutto family

It is worth mentioning here that this seat of Nawab Shah is considered as the ancestral seat of Bhutto family.

Asif Ali Zardari has been successful in this seat twice while his family members who are closely related to him have also been successful in this seat in the past.

Now Asifa Bhutto will also start her parliamentary politics after winning from the same seat.

It should be noted that President Asif Ali Zardari has already expressed his intention to give Asifa Bhutto the position of First Lady.

If Asifa Bhutto takes the oath of membership of the National Assembly in the upcoming session of the National Assembly, then she will also receive the protocol of the First Lady.

In the House of National Assembly, she will join the activities of the House along with her brother Bilawal Bhutto.
