Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim’s phone call, Eid greetings

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim and congratulated him on Eid-ul-Fitr. The Prime Minister of Malaysia expressed his determination to cooperate for the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed greetings and goodwill messages to the people of Malaysia on Eid and expressed hope that the blessings of Ramadan will bring peace and prosperity to the Muslim Ummah.
The Prime Minister expressed firm determination to promote Pakistan-Malaysia relations.
Shahbaz Sharif invited Anwar Ibrahim to visit Pakistan soon and said that the people of Pakistan will be waiting for the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Anwar Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister and wished to visit Pakistan soon.
The Prime Minister said that the timeless poetry of Allama Iqbal is being translated into Malaysian language and it will be released during the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif also invited the trade delegation of Malaysia to visit Pakistan soon and said that Pakistan will also send a trade delegation to Malaysia soon.
The Prime Minister praised Malaysia’s unequivocal stance against Israeli atrocities in Gaza and both leaders expressed solidarity with the Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The Prime Minister thanked Malaysia for supporting Pakistan’s stand on the Kashmir issue.
